We were proud to participate in 42for42 on the 10th November 2018 and walk in honour of the Australian soldiers lost in Afghanistan and those suffering from mental health issues upon their return.
Our team participated in two groups, with one group walking in the morning and another in the afternoon. Each group carried 42 kilograms signifying each of those lost, and the weight was distributed across the team members with the requirement that it kept moving throughout the day.
“We would like to thank 42for42 for putting on this great event and for providing an opportunity for our team to play a part in honouring and respecting our fallen. Our team’s walked a total of fifty-five kilometres throughout the day, and we felt everyone’s effort really demonstrated what it means not just to be a part of BOH, but also the wider Brisbane community,” says BOH Chairman Dr Mark Elliott.
We took photos throughout the day and you can view our gallery below – or find our album on facebook here.
